How does the Breakbulk solution work?
1. Order processing
You process the B2B orders and generate shipping labels via the VIM portal. These labels can already be placed on the packages.
2. Shipment to The Netherlands
All packages are consolidated into one large shipment, the so-called mother shipment (box or pallet), and sent to VIM.
3. Customs Clearance & Receipt
VIM takes care of the customs formalities for the consolidated shipment. Upon arrival at the EU warehouse, the mother shipment is opened.
4. Deconsolidation & Distribution
The individual packages are scanned and handed over to the appropriate carriers. Thanks to the pre-applied labels, Track & Trace becomes active immediately for your customers.
5. Simplified Administration
Instead of countless individual shipments, you only receive:
o One commercial invoice for the bulk shipment
o One invoice for import duties
o One overview of VAT settlement per EU country
